FAQ

Trial Night – What Is It and How to Book?

A trial night is a great way to ensure your dog feels comfortable before a longer stay. It’s a standard overnight boarding experience that allows us to assess how well your dog adapts to our environment.

To book a trial night, simply visit our Boarding section and book any available boarding night directly through our website—it is booked exactly the same way as a regular boarding night. The trial night has the same price as a regular boarding night because it is a full boarding experience.

You are welcome to drop off your dog in the morning on the check-in day and pick them up in the afternoon the next day. This allows them to settle in and get the most out of their stay with us.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

What should I bring when I leave my dog?

Feel free to leave your pup with anything you feel will make his stay with us more comfortable! Bringing his favourite toy, blanket, and snacks is highly encouraged and we love making our guest’s space feel like a second home! (No need to bring a bed or food bowls) We also request you bring your dog’s own food for him to eat while they are here, as well as any medications or supplements he needs to take while in our care. Dogs' passports will remain with us during the duration of the stay. If your dog is on a specific diet we encourage you to bring his food already portioned.

Can you administer medications?

We are more than happy to administer any oral or topical medications or supplements during his stay, free of charge (we do not administer injectable medications). For your pet’s safety, we require the medication to be in its original container with a current prescription.

What are your requirements for dog grooming, boarding, Daycare & Squad Fun Day?

In order to maintain the safety of our facility, we require all pups to be:

  • Friendly with our staff and other dogs

  • Free of ticks and fleas or any other parasite

  • In overall good health

  • At least 16 weeks old

  • Written proof of current on distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, leptospirosis and kennel cough vaccines

  • Written proof of dewormer treatment at least one week before the check in date and no older than 6 months.

  • Has satisfactorily approved our Trial Day * (not needed for grooming service)

Do I need to make a reservation?

If you are interested in any of our services, we do require you to make a reservation. For boarding, it would be best to make a reservation as soon as possible (starting with our Trial Day)  to ensure your pup has a spot with us. For daycare, you request a reservation at any time, but to ensure a spot, we recommend that you do so a few days in advance. The best way to ensure that your pup will have a spot is to purchase a daycare package. It also required all forms, terms & conditions and contracts to be agreed upon and signed before the starting of any service.

When can I drop off and pick up my dog?

For boarding and daycare from Monday to Saturday Drop off /Pick up between 08:30-12:00h and 16:00-19:00h (our doors close at 19:00h). On Sunday  10:00-11:00 and 17:00 -18:00.
For Squad Fun Day hours will be announced in advance depending on the program.

For the rest of the services (Pet daycare and grooming) we require a 72-hour cancellation policy, or 50% of the total amount of the booking will be retained by  Anny Fischer and Pet Squad BXL as compensation.
