Here is a small explanation of the canine vaccines to help you out understand the stickers on your dog's passport. 


Stickers may vary depending on the brand or country.

Remember your dog must have all the vaccines requested by us in order to stay under our care.

What is the 5 in 1 vaccine for dogs (DHPPi)?

​

The DHPPi is a canine vaccine that prevents distemper virus, canine adenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus type 2b and canine parainfluenza virus type 2.

What is the 4 in 1 vaccine for dogs (DAPP)?

​

The DAPP Vaccine Protects Against Four Dangerous Diseases. DAPP stands for Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvo. These are common viruses that affect dogs. They are all also highly contagious.

What is the Leptospirosis vaccine for dogs (L4)?

​

Canigen L4 contains four types of inactivated (killed) Leptospira strains: L. interrogans serogroup Canicola serovar Portland-vere, L. interrogans serogroup Icterohaemorrhagiae serovar Copenhageni, L. interrogans serogroup Australis serovar Bratislava, L. kirschneri serogroup Grippotyphosa serovar Dadas.

What is Kennel Cough (KC)?

​

Kennel cough is a contagious canine respiratory infection similar to a common cold in humans.  The Bordetella vaccine does not cover all strains, so it is possible for your dog to contract a respiratory infection in any group setting or location where other dogs have been, such as parks, sidewalks, grooming facilities, training facilities, pet stores and kennels.
